Bandhavgarh is located near Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, India. Bandhavgarh national park is named after the most prominent hillock of the area. It is said to be given by Hindu Lord Rama to his brother Lakshmana to keep a watch on Lanka (Ceylon). Hence, the it is called Bandhavgarh (In sanskrit: Brother's Fort).

Kanha is located near Mandla, which is in Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. Kanha national park is divided into two parts, Hallon and Banjar, of 250 and 300 km². Kanha is the largest National Park in Central India
